Year old Nason Ful-Thane cut and buff. I have a car that was sprayed last September with Nason Ful-Thane single stage urethane (solid color). It has been stored inside since being painted. The paint job came out glassy smooth but I have some dirt and dust nibs in the paint. My question is what grit should I sand it with to remove the nibs.Nason Full-Thane lists the ratio as 8:1:2 My mix cups have 8:1:1 Using the '5' scale the distance between the 1:1 is 3/8". I picked up a gallon of Ful-Thane, hardener, reducer, quart of clear, and hardener, for $433.16. Cheap enough. I got the cab ready for paint yesterday. This morning, conditions are absoloutely perfect for painting.I sprayed over sanded 2K primer. Before I sprayed I wiped the panel with 70% rubbing alcohol. The fisheyes/solvent pop didn't show up until an hour or two after the last coat. I sanded down the panel with 220 and some of the craters are fairly deep but non of them go to the primer.
